As assistant director of media and public relations, Julia Gunther works with AACR staff and members to promote the organization's meetings, journals, and initiatives to the media and the public. She is passionate about garnering support for cancer research through effective communication. Before joining the AACR, Gunther worked in communications at Common Sense Media, where she focused on the impact of media and technology on children’s health and learning. She lives in Philadelphia.
